Exchanging your FitDocs scrubs for a different size or colour is quick and straightforward.

Step 1 — Contact Us Within 30 Days

Email sales@fit-docs.com with your order number, which item you want to exchange, the size/colour you currently have, and the size/colour you’d like instead.

Step 2 — Return Your Original Item

We’ll send you a free prepaid return label. Package your item with tags still attached and drop it at any Royal Mail location.

Step 3 — Receive Your Replacement

Once we receive and inspect your return (1–2 business days), we dispatch your replacement with standard free UK delivery. You’ll receive a new tracking number by email.

FitDocs scrubs are designed with a relaxed professional fit — not too baggy, not restrictive. If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up for ease of movement, especially for tops.

FitDocs scrubs are made from a high-quality, pre-shrunk polyester-cotton blend that is designed to maintain its shape and size through repeated washing.

Expected Shrinkage

Under normal washing conditions (30°C, machine wash), you can expect minimal shrinkage of less than 1–2%, which is negligible and within garment industry tolerance. This means a medium should still fit like a medium after 50+ washes.

How to Minimise Shrinkage

• Wash at 30°C or 40°C maximum
• Do not tumble dry on high heat
• Avoid boil washing (even for infection control — our fabric holds up to 60°C clinical washes)

Clinical Washing (60°C)

If you need to wash at 60°C for infection control compliance, there may be a small amount of additional shrinkage over time. In this case, we recommend sizing up by one size.

Before Dispatch

If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet (typically within 1–2 business hours of ordering on weekdays), we can amend the size at no extra cost.

After Dispatch

Once your order has been dispatched, we’re unable to intercept it. In this case, please follow our standard exchange process once the item arrives:

• We’ll send a free return label
• Return the item unworn with tags attached
• We’ll dispatch the correct size
